Last month I had the pleasure of having my bedroom and vintage collection featured in the San Francisco-based magazine
Asterisk. The photos were taken by Jeremy Joven, the incredibly sweet founder and editor who certainly had his work cut out for him. I don't think he realized just how many things I have tucked in every corner of my apartment... my closets are literally bursting open! You can peek at the final result (including an interview) right
here. They also featured me alongside some lovely fellow Bay Area bloggers
here.
Wearing a 1960's shift dress I found at a vintage store in Santa Rosa.
I always have a rotating selection of dresses hanging on my door... partly because of space issues and partly because I love looking at them!
The heart-shaped frame contains a photo of my cute parents when they were about my age. My mom is making a goofy face... I learned from the best.
I collect oversized silk blouses with funny animal prints. How could I resist?
I have some pretty strange books in my collection... the sillier and weirder the better! Face Lifting By Exercise is one of many gems...
Some of my favorite shoes... from left to right: 1960's clear vintage heels, 1960's orange brocade heels, 1980's Ferragamos, silver sparkle mary-janes from Tic Tac Toes, and Chelsea Crew heels.
Three vintage purses. The gorgeous red velvet clutch is from Bohemian Bisoux Vintage, one of the loveliest Etsy shops ever.
