A recent lady date with Jen turned into a Chinatown adventure. If you've never been to Chinatown in San Francisco I can only describe it as overwhelming. The sidewalks are constantly packed with tourists and locals alike, everyone is taking photos of everything, and there are a million colorful things to distract you at every turn. Luckily we knew enough to ditch the main street for the less crowded alleys and side streets, and after hitting the vintage stationary jackpot we ended up in North Beach for a bit of dessert and wine. The perfect conclusion to an unexpected adventure with one of my favorite girls.

Heaven is the Alameda Point Antiques Faire (or as I like to call it, The Flea). Usually I fill up one giant bag but on this particular day I managed to fill two, mostly with things for the shop that I will be adding over the next few weeks. My guns are going to be so ripped now from lugging all that stuff around. Who needs the gym when you've got miles of vintage to paw through?

golden collective vintage sale

Yes, darlings... it's almost time for another Golden Collective vintage sale! Come join Isla, Rachel, Jen, Annalise and myself this Sunday at Clayton and Fulton in San Francisco for some amazing (and cheap!) vintage shopping, champagne, and good times.

A taste of the extreme awesomeness you can expect to witness...

If I had a dream dress checklist this little number would mark every single box. These rusty tights and the magical glitter boots have been in heavy rotation lately, mostly paired with short and swingy dresses like this one. For those of you that were interested in how these boots fit, they definitely run small (I ordered a size larger than normal) but they are quite comfortable. Also the glitter has held up really well so far, despite my tendency to quickly trash my shoes since I walk everywhere. Just call me Trashley. (Actually, don't.)
