antiquing

Last week I went on a day trip up to Petaluma and Healdsburg with Jen. We hit up my favorite antique store, Summer Cottage Antiques, and every thrift store in the area. I found a few lovely pieces for the shop and a pink 1950's velvet flower corsage for myself. Naturally we ended the day with dinner at In-N-Out before heading home with a car full of antique dust and treasures. I forgot to photograph my outfit that day (bad blogger!) but I did manage to take these photos of some of the bits and pieces I was drawn to.

Sometime the best things at antique stores aren't the things you bring home, but the pictures of amazing things that you can never buy- like that sweet ballet tutu.
