Meet Vagabondia Vintage, a lovely Etsy shop devoted to sartorial freedom and the perfect mix of vintage from all eras. I'm naturally drawn to the sweet dresses (like the 1960's mini above) but there is something here for everyone. Take a peek at the lovingly curated shop here and you may just find a vintage treasure or two!

peekaboo
coat vintage
blouse vintage
belt thrifted
skirt vintage from wear it well
clutch vintage
heels asos
I will admit that I had a moment of doubt before heading outside in this outfit because of the sheerness of the blouse. But then I realized that, despite the bit of electric blue bra peeking out, I still looked rather demure. I've never been one to participate in that time-honored tradition of Showing Cleavage. A bit of sheer lace in a prim cut or an abbreviated hemline is more my speed.

shop showcase: female hysteria vintage
I have never taken a peek at Female Hysteria Vintage without adding a few beyond magical dresses to my favorites list. The shop is always full of lovely pieces from every era, with an emphasis on frocks from the 1940's, 50's, and 60's. There is always something lacy, something with bows, the perfect shoes... everything I'm always searching high and low for on Etsy. I have a dreamy dress from Female Hysteria hanging on my door right now, a pale blue chiffon number that will make a Fancy Fine debut very soon. In the meantime there are many swoon-worthy treasures to be coveted, so get to shopping!

spring fling
Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Bold Italic's Spring Fling, which was like a fantasy high school dance but ten times better. Dusty Stax played every single oldies love song you've ever swooned to and everyone was dolled up in their finest Spring duds. Jen, Christina, and Isla joined me in the photo booth along with a bunch of other babes. The only thing missing was a set of bleachers for sneaking under to make out. I wish parties like this happened every week!

glitter dream boots
turban vintage, estate sale
blouse vintage
skirt vintage from mother's daughter
sunglasses vintage from bohemian bisoux
tights j. crew
purse vintage
boots pixie market
I had these magical glitter boots bookmarked for over a month and I finally broke down and made them mine with a bit of birthday money. As far as shoes go they definitely fall into the category of "silly," and yet in my (weird) mind they seem like the ideal go-with-everything boots. Naturally I couldn't wear them out for the first time without adding even more glitter to the outfit in the form of this 1970's blouse that I found at the Vintage Fashion Expo. One red suede skirt later and we have one of my favorite color combinations. The turban is a recent find from the estate sale of a woman who was clearly obsessed with hats, my kind of lady. I can tell I'll be wearing these pieces well into my golden years.
