My life lately could best be described as a wonderfully crazy whirlwind. I couldn't even begin to say why, especially because I've always valued keeping my personal life (for the most part) off the blog. But I will say that I've been smiling like an idiot way more than I usually do. This lovely Madewell dress (yes, the Alexa Chung one) suits my mood rather well. I love it dressed down with knee socks and flats but I also think it will look lovely all fancy-ed up for the holidays. I owe the curls to my awesome new set of hot rollers, something that had been on my wish list for a while. It's about time I started doing something new with my hair!

Oh, this outfit is gorgeous! I love orange and seeing it in a more muted shade, rather than scarily bright, is lovely.
Gorgeous hair too!

I don't comment on your blog nearly as much as I oooh and aaaaaw over your outfits, but I just have to this time. I am glad you are doing well and are so happy, those moments are the best. What is also the best is your hair, your GORGEOUS dress, the great bag and the pretty jacket. I. Love. This. Look.

Hot rollers are the best! Your hair looks super cute! The Alexa Chung for Madwell dress looks darling, and it looks vintage too. Such a charming Fall Outfit with lots of lovely details.

P.S: I’m excited for your mini trip to Southern Cali. (I responded to your email by the way).

Wonderful! My friend (black-swans-pond.blogspot.com) linked me to this post because I keep a tumblr devoted to orange (heckyeahorange.tumblr.com)! I'll have to pop you on there tomorrow.

What is your nail colour?! It is perfection with this outfit!
