wild is the wind

blouse  vintage
skirt  vintage
shoes  vintage ferragamo

Okay, I wish my hair and makeup looked this glamorous every day. The reason for the super fanciness is that I had just come from doing a photo shoot for Modcloth and they turned me into a 1950's babe-for-a-day. Erin took lots of behind the scenes photos for me but I have to wait a little bit before I can share them. I'm wearing a sheer blouse I found at the Alameda Flea with a skirt from Hot Couture and a necklace from one of my new favorite Etsy shops (and newest sponsors), Noble Town Vintage. Now if only I had the skills to make my hair look this perfectly coifed every day...

Shut the front door!!!!! I LOOOVE THIS! i love every single thing about this oufit, there's harmony between the skirt and the top, the colors, the shape, everything. Here's the living proof that dressing all vintage doesn't mean costumy.

Oh my goodness, SUCH a beauty. I've just been away from home for a week without internet and as soon as I got in I hit 'fancy fine blog' into my search toolbar. If one blog can provide me with all the inspiration I need to make a dreary evening in Manchester technicolour it's yours! :) xx
