day trip: sonoma

dress  vintage
sunglasses  anthropologie
bag  vintage from dear golden vintage
shoes  thrifted

Last week I went on an amazing day trip to Sonoma County with Jen. I grew up in Santa Rosa so I'm always happy to visit all the thrift and vintage shops I frequented in my youth. The weather was perfect and I found many goodies (mostly for the shop but I snagged a few for myself too). It was nice to get out of the city for a day and spend it digging through old things with a lovely gal.

Like the Hello Kitty band-aid? That's the kind of thing I buy on Target shopping sprees.

Adorable Jen, my traveling companion. She's smiling because we had In N' Out for lunch.

I bought two dresses at our first stop: Hot Couture, where I've been shopping since I was 14.

The prettiest pink dress. Too bad it was XXS!

Shoe heaven at a thrift store.

Thank goodness for shopping carts! I went a liiiittle bit nuts.

I got into a fist fight with that old man shortly after this was taken because he tried taking my loot. (Not really.)

Don't wanna know.

Wow, what an incredible day out that was! The shop and markets you went to look really great, like they would hold amazing things to buy.
Love your dress - the cut is so flattering and the collar's adorable.
Great post!

What a lovely day! Your dress is so pretty. I love all those photos of the shop too. I can't wait to move back to the States, so my girl friends and I can do things like his. :)

Your dress is so lovely and chic, I won't lie I have complete wardrobe-envy over it!! These look like great vintage shops, there doesn't seem to be as good of a range here in Australia so I am always hunting online for vintage treasures via etsy and ebay xxx

What a perfect trip! While I lived in L.A. for 4 years I never got to explore Northern California besides San Francisco proper.

Looks like you found some amazing goodies. I also adore both your & Jen's outfits, the neckline of your dress is wonderful.

The dress you're wearing is gorgeous, love both the front and the back.
Also that blue dress you bought is gorgeous too, can't wait to see you wearing it.

That first store looks incredible! And that really is shoe heaven. The shoe dept. of thrift stores is always a bit lacking. I guess shoes tend to get worn out and thrown out more than other articles of clothing or something.

Both of you ladies look absolutely gorgeous! Seems like you had a wonderful day together :)

that fist place looks amazing!

Every single picture is pure eye candy and there's enough to keep me going for hours! :) Also, thrift stores look absolutely uh-mazing in America, I've never been to one with that many shoes or trolleys before. So jealous! Amazing blog, I love it so much :)
