I'm moving to a new apartment in a month, which means it's time for a Fancy Fine estate sale! I will be listing a few odds and ends over the next few weeks, both on Etsy and through Instagram, starting with these three beauties from the 1940's. They all have a bit of wear and tear and are being sold 'as is' but I think anyone with a bit of sewing skills (or a great alterations place) can find these a lovely new home. They are $20 apiece, or $40 for all three, plus $9 shipping domestic or $23 shipping international. All three would fit a modern size 4/6, up to a 34" bust, 27" waist, and 37" hips. Here are the details about each one...

Pale blue lace / discoloration all over, a few holes here and there. Has lovely snaps on the side.

Yellow silk / minor discoloration, a few tiny holes, the hem has come loose, small stains, and the gathering at the right shoulder has loosened.

Ivory silk with velvet eyelet collar / collar in amazing condition, zipper is totally busted (needs to be replaced), some larger holes in the skirt, staining here and there.

the tinsel dream dress

If you follow me on Instagram then you may remember this green tinsel number from a few weeks ago. 1960's perfection. I snapped it up and and now some lucky lady can make this the holiday party dress of her dreams! Sadly it was too small on me, otherwise I would be keeping it forever and ever. Fortunately I've at least had the pleasure of admiring it on my wall for a few days, but this beauty is ready for some festivities. It's available to purchase here!

fancy fine vintage is back

True to my word I finally did a major closet purge, which resulted in a giant pile of over 70 items of clothing on my floor. I started listing things in the shop and there are many more to come. But do hurry and take a peek now, because otherwise I'm afraid my cat will make a permanent home on that pile! You will find a few of my favorite lace dresses, several gorgeous silk blouses, and other things I'm sad to give up. But it's time.

cat lady dream shoes (for sale!)

Remember these amazing heels from this post? Sadly they are much too small for me, despite having squeezed into them for these photos, and now I'm offering them for sale. They are a US size 10 (or UK size 8) but fit more like a US size 9. I purchased them from ASOS (here) and have only worn them once so they are still in excellent condition. ASOS has sold out of most sizes, including this one, so size 9 ladies who  dig cats: snatch these beauties up! The gray satin-y fabric is covered in the best lady and cat print ever and the chunky heel is perfection. I'm selling them for $60 including shipping (anywhere in the world, payable via Paypal). dream loafers for sale

I bought these dreamy and perfect Marais USA penny loafer heels for myself a few months ago and sadly they are much too small for me so I'm offering them for sale! They are marked a size 10 but fit more like a size 9 or narrow 9.5 (please refer to the measurements below). They have never been worn and are in excellent condition except for a few minor claw marks left by my naughty cat (as shown in these photos). If these beauties had fit me I'm sure I would have already worn them to death... everything about them is perfection, from the rich brown color to the short stacked heel. a polka dot coat for sale

 I bought this adorable Topshop coat about a year ago and I only wore it once before it became lost in the constant shuffle of my wardrobe. So now I'm offering it to you lovelies! I paid $178 for it (if I remember correctly) and I'm selling it for $68 (via Paypal)... quite a bit cheaper considering it's still in near-perfect condition aside from several clinging cat hairs! It's a size 6 and would fit someone with a 34" bust and 27" waist best. The color is a very pale beige-y pink with black dots. The fabric is a lightweight but sturdy cotton and it's fully lined in polyester. I love the big gold buttons and all the sweet little bows. I bought this dress many years ago on a trip to New York. I fell in love with the tiny print (which has little stars and geometric shapes) and the easy shape of it. However, our time together has come to an end and I'd like for it to have a new home.
