I found this magical red cape at the Goodwill on Haight Street about six months ago and it finally felt like the perfect day to wear it. These rainy day photos were shot by the incredibly dapper John Tran from the Street Fashion Style blog and you can see a few more here. It's funny to think these were only taken a week ago and now San Francisco is having the ultimate Indian Summer weather... my last chance for sandals and sleeveless dresses!

oh man that cape is the greatest find ever. reminds me of "red cape" by priscilla ahn, an adorably cute and uplifting song. great for a grey rainy day.

What a beautiful outfit! I love the mix of the red and brown with the detail of the 'A' on the collar. Fantastic! I'm jealous that all these pieces aren't in my wardrobe, too, lol!

I love the cape, it's magical indeed (and somehow reminds me of the film 'Chocolate', though I don't know exactly why...)
