pale blue lace

These photos were taken by the lovely Erin a few days before I left for New York. I had just finished my second Modcloth photo shoot (!) which is why my hair looks way more glamorous than my usual tangles. It's rather perfect that I happened to be wearing a 1960's dress that day along with my current favorite combo of tote bag and shoes. After the shoot I wandered around downtown aimlessly, poking around in all the shops and realizing that new things interest me less and less. I ended up buying nothing but film for my camera. The day ended with a burger date (the best kind of date!) and a hotel adventure that involved sneaking into every room with an unlocked door, climbing out a window onto the roof, and taking dumb photos along the way...

Your hair looks awesome like that! And that's a lovely little dress. Your hotel adventures always seem so fun! I've always been a big scaredy cat about sneaking in places. I once almost cried (twice!) in two separate occasions when my husband wanted us to sneak up to better seats, once at a small theater and once at a baseball game. *sigh* I'm such a rule follower, even when the potential for trouble is minimal!

ohh i totally know what you mean about shopping new. i just cant do it. the prices are so wrong for items so mass produced. it depresses me for most of the people who are lazy and take that route! and i adore your dress!
