the oxblood boots

cardigan  vintage
blouse  vintage from wasteland
skirt  thrifted
tote bag  filson from j. crew
boots  topshop

I gasped when I saw these amazing oxblood-hued boots last month while perusing the Topshop site. The color was the first thing I noticed, being the sucker I am for such shades, and of course I fell for that chunky heel. And then before I knew it I was adding them to my shopping cart without a second thought. They are quite different than most of my other shoes, far more modern. But I love how they ground an otherwise floaty, feminine outfit (which is my favorite kind of outfit if you hadn't already noticed).

Love the outfit and the boots, but really the first thing I noticed is that you are at Clayton and Fell at the Panhandle Park. That was my way from my house to the Height, and now it's Jenny's path. But I would know that backdrop anywhere. I love this!!! You're gonna make Jen miss home like crazy.

Phwoar! Those boots are lovely. The whole English heritage colours and prints (love the pheasants - so mad) look fab too.

those boots are so fabulous, as is everything else about this look. I'm in love with the print on that blouse! I've been wanting to go thrifting lately and now you've made the desire even stronger! :)

Those shoes are amazing! I love how this outfit has a bit of a fallish feel while still being nice and summery. Also, I love your hair and am willing to trade if you would like very fine hair that grows at a glacial pace.
