giveaway: custard heart vintage

There are so many pretty things in the Custard Heart Vintage shop right now, I had quite a difficult time narrowing my favorites down! Which is lucky for you because the lovely Maria is once again offering my readers the chance to win a $40 gift certificate which could buy you the cutest floral playsuit ever, or perhaps an amazing pair of cream lace-up boots.

To enter the giveaway please leave a comment with the following:

1.) What is your favorite item from Custard Heart Vintage?
2.) How would you style this particular item?
3.) Your email!

The contest is open to international ladies and the winner will be announced on June 1st. Good luck!

oh my. i seriously love everything in the shop, but if i HAD to choose just one, it'd be the floral playsuit. i'd layer a kelly green skirt overtop and add a straw hat for daytime, and a cream chiffon skirt for going out at night. it's beautiful!

I've never entered one of these before so I'm not really sure if I'm doing this right but I love custard heart vintage.. she just has the loveliest stuff. It was so hard to chose.. I love all the little sixties dresses and those cream boots are just too cute but I think I'll go all festive and say that it would have to be that amazing tea rose party dress that I'd wear for my boyfriends birthday with a little antique diamonte bag and some nude heels with bows on too and a simple long chain..
Thanks for the amazing offer!

I would pick this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/74427921/1950s-vintage-kahana-hawaii-sun-dress
I've recently become slightly obsessed with 1940s and 50s clothes from Hawaii, so this would be perfect for summer! And it's so awesome that I'd only need to add my old saddle shoes to style it.

Even though summer's approaching, I have quite a soft spot for the coral 1960s shetland cardigan. I would wear it with high-waisted cigarette jeans, a white cotton peter-pan collar blouse, black wingtip oxfords and a navy scarf tied like a turban.
Thank you for the opportunity!

All of the dresses in her shop are so gorgeous! My absolute favorite would have to be the Mikado Leaf abstract print day dress, to bring some fall colors into the spring. The dress really stands out on its own, so I would wear it with some simple nude flats, and a brown straw hat. What a great giveaway!

so many cute things, but i think i would go with the Belle France Spring dress, and pair it with a thick black belt, blue or green tights and my favorite mary janes. the sleeves and fancy collar are so sweet, i don't think it would need any other accessories, so i would just carry a big floral embroidered tapestry bag-i love mixing florals :)

One of my favorites is the 1960s vintage Gabar New York one piece playsuit, it's so beautiful! Therefore I would only wear it with bare legs and feet, and loose hair. I can easily imagine it. Me in the playsuit, the sun at my skin and the wind in my hair.
I really enjoy following you, keep up the good work.

My mind is self combusting at the variety of stunning vintage items you have on offer ! :O but alas I have to calm my weary heart down to write the rest of the comment :P

If I was forced at knife point I would choose the 1950s vintage Ice Blue pleated day dress ...

I would cinch the little beauty in with a think black velvet belt around my waist and some dainty white lace gloves. For shoes I would wear some twee black patent mary janes and perhaps some little white socks to add to the quaintness of the dress. I would my hair in a french plait with cream ribbon and finally a string of pearls around my neck to accentuate the collar.

and then I would proceed to gleefully hop through the busy street showing of my 'new' dress to anyone ranging from old age pensioners to new born babies :3

Eek I'm so happy you're doing a giveaway with Custard Heart because you are exactly the sort of girl I can picture every item in her shop on. In fact, I currently have about five pieces from Custard Heart vintage in my Etsy saved favourites but there's a 1950s rick rack jacket that I just think is so cool and would absolutely love. Would look pretty with high-waisted tapered trousers or over a fitted grey 'office' type shift dress. So hope I win! xxx
