pants!

Yes, I'm actually wearing (gasp!) pants in these photos. If you've been following Fancy Fine for a while now then you've probably noticed that I have never, ever posted any photos of myself wearing pants. That is because it's a very rare occurrence. I have a strange relationship with pants. I absolutely love them on other girls, especially goofy ones in odd colors with high waists and interesting prints or fabrics. But nearly every time I put on a pair I end up looking (and feeling) like a giant asshole and I have to immediately change back into a skirt or dress. I own a single pair of jeans (currently collecting dust in my closet) but I have quite a growing collection of funny pants in an array of silky, drapey fabrics. I've been thinking it might be time to actually to wear them and get over this phobia... so say hello to my newest pair, a rather hilarious 90's style with keys all over them.

Haha, pants seem to make you want to jump about...perhaps you should wear them more often! I love how you paired the vertically striped top (which is adorable) with the key patterned pants...classic.

You look amazing in them!! I love the colour of your coat and your pretty flats.

I too can't quite seem to wear pants without feeling like an idiot.. but the likes of Lulu Letty (and now you!) are helping me break away from that!

I think you look great in pants! I have a strained relationship with them myself... I think I look good in cropped pants and that very thin girls look great in all pants, but when it comes to jeans and other basics, they never seem to work for me. Mind you, I don't own any key-print pants, it's true!

Those trousers are so cute (I also love your b&w stripey shirt). I used to wear trousers all the time, but now I barely ever wear them. Skirts are just much more comfortable.
