I mentioned a few posts ago that I bought a new camera, and here are some of the first photos taken with this magical machine. It's a Canon Rebel T1i with an amazing 28mm lens and I'm completely smitten, especially after using a super junky old Canon Rebel that was at least nine years old. Lauren and I shot these photos near Haight Street where we invaded the Goodwill and found a few lovely vintage pieces (her a velvet fascinator from the 50's and me a beautiful red cape and an orange robe with giant bows on it).
Oh, and that last photo? That's what I look like when I'm laughing (read: painfully nerdy).

P.S. I have an open ended ticket to SF on the 24th! We're going to be in Tahoe for most of the trip, celebrating Jeff's birthday (you're welcome to come if you feel like making a drive!), but since the ticket is open ended I don't know yet when I'll be going home. Hey Ashley, I've been meaning to write to you, but I've been quite of kind. So remember I asked you at the end of last year if you could model in a video shoot for The Common for some collections.
