The late 1960's and early 1970's were the golden age of perfect mary jane shoes, weird color combos, knee socks, mini skirts, and adults dressing like children. In a word: amazing. From the awesomely cartoonish hair to the abbreviated hemlines, I've always been fond of the styles and the way everything was so neatly presented with cute names like Prissy Missy and Les Girls. And you know I'm inspired by those goofy modeling poses too! I've already been on a major knee socks / mini skirt kick lately and these photos are making me want to take the look even further.

I enjoyed this a little too much.
Oh my God, those Prissy Missy (!) suits are killer. The 60s are by far my favorite fashion decade.
What a gorgeous collection of photographs. I love the hairstyles near the end, so cute!

Wow! I would wear all of these. wait, i sometimes do!
This is just the most adorable blog!
i love taking different eras and mashing them all together. like a piece from the flapper era, mixed with something from WWII era.
But the 60s and 70s.
amazing times.
These bring me back to flipping through pattern catalogues with my mom when I was little! The last photo is the best. It makes me want to bust out all my poofy blouses that Sterling hates : )
ohh so much good!
I wish I had a time machine!
Wow! They're all wide-eyed girls with gorgeoussss clothes. Oh how I wish I lived in that era!
One of my favourite looks!
