good morning, pinky

This outfit caused a bit of a sensation in my neighborhood the other day. A man sitting at the coffee shop on the corner near my apartment looked me slowly up and down and said, "Good morning, pinky!" and it was all I could do not to fall over laughing. Another man said something about me looking like the "walking Spring equinox." And everyone else just stared, slightly bewildered. One of the best parts about getting older is that I become less and less shy about looking like a crazy lady.

I always enjoy your ability to embrace some pretty over-the-top feminine silhouettes and patterns. I'm not surprised you caused a sensation, but I do love those shoes!

yes! finally get to see that robe/dress in action! i love not caring what people think about what im wearing either. you would really stand out here, winter in nyc means everyone is wearing black. like everyone! as if there are no stores that sell coats in colors. im the brightest person around, and i love it.

Just love the shoes! They are fantastic. Tried to find them and no luck. Are they new or another season?

You are by far the chicest person I've ever seen sitting at a bus stop. You look much more like a stylish city girl with a love for bright colors than a crazy lady. How amazing are those heels and that bag. I'm in love! You're so stunning!

Oh my golly gumdrops!!! These pictures are epic - they just made my whole week! You look so so lovely in that beautiful dress and that fascinator is just perfect. And to top it off you paired it with the most adorable purse! I can see the first picture as a full page ad on the back of the front cover of a magazine!!
