How could I possibly resist a coat that looks exactly like cotton candy? I found it tucked away at one of my favorite antique stores in Petaluma, one of the best places to find old lady treasures. I think it looks rather perfect with this faded 1960's dress (someone clearly left this beauty in the sun too long). I'm still obsessed with my new hot rollers because they make me feel like I've made some kind of effort with my usually messy, frizzy hair.
I'm in Los Angeles right now on a Disneyland / thrift store / karaoke adventure. If you're in the area tonight and want to join me for a song and a cocktail do let me know... the more the merrier!

I don't know if you've already chosen your L.A. karaoke venue, but Brass Monkey in Koreatown is pretty fun. I'd advise staying away from Dimples in Burbank. Nice people, but it's also kind of a dump.

This whole outfit is crazy adorable. I would kill for that coat or that dress, and the fact that you own both of them makes me hate you, but not really because I love you and your style and your blog.
