new york: part three

dress  vintage
purse  vintage
boots  topshop

Last night I traipsed around Brooklyn for Fashion's Night Out with a gaggle of pretty girls: Hannah, Siri, Emily, Francesca and Liz. There was free champagne, crowds spilling into the streets, and plenty of excellent people watching. I took a lot more photos with my point-and-shoot film camera that I'll be posting as soon as I get home. Highlights of the evening: eating amazing greasy pizza and having some dude shout "Hey, it's the Babysitters Club!" at the group of us when we walked by. Not sure if he meant it as a compliment but I'll gladly take it as one.

All you girls look so cute! But 'huh' on the Babysitters Club comment? That just makes no sense ... Can't wait to see more photos when you get back.

Aw I grew up reading The Babysitters Club, I'd definitely take it as a compliment. All of you are wearing such pretty dresses, you're lucky to have such stylish friends. :)

I was scrolling frantically down this post to find where your dress is from, alas, vintage! I always seem to like things that I can never get - all clothes I like where bought in Albania in 1940 in a shop that doesn't exist anymore, etc, etc. such a beautiful, whimsical dress. you all look lovely - have a grand time!

I'd definitely take that Babysitters Club comment as a compliment, because you girls look great. Ohh I miss late-night pizza in New York.

Your dress is so lovely. Is it a single garment or is that some kind of cardigan? I think BSC is definitely a compliment btw.
