new york: part five

I was looking forward to the "babe explosion" picnic my entire week in New York, and the outcome was well worth the wait! So many wonderful gals showed up to chat and take silly photos. We even had a surprise visit from some near-naked strangers, ahem. I wish I could organize a picnic like this every weekend, if only to bask in the loveliness of all my fellow bloggers while stuffing my face with cheese. Thank you so much to everyone that came, I loved every minute!

Hannah, Siri and Kelsey sitting pretty.

Leah and Liz.

Erin looking adorable as always.

Hannah / Kater.

Emily / John and Erin.

Oh whaaaaat?

These dudes came over and serenaded us... and then I lied and said it was my birthday so that they'd sing more.

They were quite... exposed.

Sandra, too cute.

My roommate for the week!

Oh geeeez ladyface thank you so much for organizing this whole thing! It was so much fun and I'm so sad that it was only a day! I can't get over how hilarious and gorgeous everyone is! So much fun, seriously, highlight of my month!

Also, you are the only person I know who can make the most hilarious faces and poses and still be the prettiest!

so many pretties in one place, I don't know if I could have handled it! Forever bummed that I couldn't be up there, I would have loved to have met all you ladies!

Oh man, this just looks like way too much fun.

Also, I totally agree with Kater in saying that your funny faces and poses somehow keeps your prettiness intact! Any candid photo of me is almost always unflattering.

I must say that Fancy Fine is quickly becoming one of my favorite style blogs...your vintage style is fantastic but what keeps me coming back is that you show other parts of your life, all the while photographing the loveliness of SF. Thank you!

Diane

You can't imagine how great it is for me, that haven't been there and are miles away from all you, to see these pics. I read you all and feel close to you - even if you don't know me! :) If I were in NY I would have gone there with no doubt to have some fun with you. The story of the boys and your bday was hillarious.

Hi Ashley! I don't think I formally introduced myself to you at the picnic, but thank you so much for organizing it with Rebecca & Erin. It was a blast, a walking picnicking holiday as Deena from the Jersey shore would say! Hopefully, next time, I won't be too super shy about introducing myself.
