Summer has been treating me well so far: salsa lessons, weekend adventures, pretty new shoes, wine country jaunts, last minute photo shoots, karaoke mischief, and lots of random fun with friends. Sometimes I feel like things are gathering so much momentum in this moment, it's as though my life is really only just beginning right now. I love knowing how much more there is... so many places to be visited, so many karaoke songs to sing, so many glasses of champagne to be enjoyed, so many episodes of True Blood to make me blush profusely.
Tonight I'm celebrating the birthday of my friend Peter, one of my favorite people on the planet and the one who shoots most of the photos on this blog. He is my partner in crime and thrift and I'm lucky to call such a cool dude my friend. He also does an amazing karaoke rendition of "Beauty School Dropout" so if you're ever in San Francsico...

i love seeing the sf landscape in these photos. reminds me of the new beginnings and life adventures i'm about to take on myself! this summer seems to feel like such a pivotal time for so many people i know and i'm glad to hear the same for you.
i'll be sure to request beauty school dropout the next time i'm at encore (not singing anything and enjoying gin drinks!). ;)
