I will buy anything that looks like an ice skater in the 60's may have worn it. Case in point: this swingy silver dress, which I found many years ago at a vintage store in Santa Rosa (the town I grew up in). I'm a sucker for that a-line shape. The Boyfriend and I were making plans to go ice skating soon and this dress might be the perfect costume to wear. At least I will look sparkly when I fall flat on my face!

I love ice skating! So awesome. But I had to stop going because they stopped sharpening the skates properly :(

This dress is killin' me! I'm in love! Also: "ice skater in the 60's" is one of the best style concepts I've ever heard.
That dress is amazing! And of course it's vintage, which means there's very little chance of me getting one like it :-/

What a cute dress! Unless it's made of spandex, it's much, much to cute to be an ice skating dress. (I was an ice skater in my former life and I have said spandex outfits still) ha ha.
