I've been taking so many silly nighttime photos here in New York with my film camera but I won't be able to share any of them until I get back to San Francisco. Which means that you get to see all of the non-sweaty daytime shots first, the "posed" ones, and then later there will be an onslaught of grainy craziness with lots of dancing and mischief. Oh, and many shirtless men (who for some reason kept popping up all over in groups). I'll be sad on Tuesday when I have to say goodbye to this city and to all the fantastic ladies I've had the pleasure of palling around with. And I will especially miss Emily and being able to photograph her pretty face every day... has anyone ever looked better in a mini skirt? Wowza!

Last night I traipsed around Brooklyn for Fashion's Night Out with a gaggle of pretty girls: Hannah, Siri, Emily, Francesca and Liz. There was free champagne, crowds spilling into the streets, and plenty of excellent people watching. I took a lot more photos with my point-and-shoot film camera that I'll be posting as soon as I get home. Highlights of the evening: eating amazing greasy pizza and having some dude shout "Hey, it's the Babysitters Club!" at the group of us when we walked by. Not sure if he meant it as a compliment but I'll gladly take it as one.

Walking around Park Slope with Emily and admiring all the beautiful buildings was the perfect way to spend the day before the evening's rather crazy festivities (more on that in another post). I've been spending most of my New York money on food and booze (ahem) but today I allowed myself to purchase one present for myself: a beautiful 1960's pale blue satin babydoll dress with large tiered ruffles. Perfection in a dress, although I could say the same about the lovely Nadinoo dress I'm wearing above. A giant bow at the bust and Liberty fabric? I may be predictable but at least I know exactly what I love!
